What the Role Involves

As an installation technician, you will be offered a diverse, free, and enjoyable job. You will be part of a team with high competence in the field. The base for your assignments is Östersund, with Sweden as your workplace and nature as your neighbor.

The team you will be part of works with installations in the defense telecommunications network, Swedish power grids, and other defense technical installations - therefore, you will be an important link in the defense chain. You will be responsible for transport and materials and will be Combitech's representative in the field. You will have a great opportunity to plan and carry out your installation assignments independently. We work with the latest technology at various facilities throughout Sweden, and we also carry out overseas projects. This means that travel is often required in the job.

As our services involve work that is subject to defense secrecy, you will need to undergo and be approved in a security screening with background checks. The position also requires that you pass a medical examination for "Work at Height".

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with an interest or experience in electricity and technology who is not afraid of heights. As a person, you are self-organized and a true team player at the same time. We appreciate curiosity, engagement, and a willingness to learn new things. You should be able and willing to travel several days a week. A B driver's license is a requirement for this position, as well as proficiency in the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

Good knowledge in the electrical/telecommunications installation field, telecommunications, and fall protection is an advantage. Experience in tower and mast construction as well as heavy lifting using winches is also considered advantageous for this position.
