About Water and Environmental Resources

Water and Environmental Resources ensures that you receive fresh drinking water from your tap and a clean local environment every day. We work to make your everyday life function here and now, and to ensure that nature's resources last. We exist so that future generations can also enjoy the mountains, waterways, forests, and land.

The company is owned by the municipalities of Bergs, Bräcke, and Härjedalen. We are responsible for the operation of the water and sewage supply of the owner municipalities, producing and distributing drinking water, as well as managing and treating wastewater. The company is also responsible for the municipalities' waste management, collecting and handling waste and sludge. In total, we have over 100 employees.

We operate over a large geographical area and have offices in Sveg, Hede, Funäsdalen, Svenstavik, Hackås, and Bräcke, which provides great opportunities to work from different locations. Currently, several larger projects are underway, including a major expansion of municipal water and sewage in Härjedalen. The aim is to ensure long-term stable operations for water and sewage supply, with increased environmental requirements and development in tourist areas.

Are you meticulous, technically interested, and want to work with surveying in water and sewage?

We are looking for a survey technician for a fixed-term position, where you will be responsible for surveying the water and sewage system in Bräcke municipality. You will also work with the VA-bank to ensure documentation of data.

About the position

The tasks involve a lot of time outdoors, so we want you to be comfortable working in various weather conditions. We prefer that you enjoy working both independently and in a team. It is also advantageous if you can interpret old water and sewage maps to effectively carry out the surveys. In the position, you will use Trimble GNSS for surveying and entering measurement results into the VA-bank.

About you

To fit the role, we want you to have post-secondary education of at least two years in measurement and cartography. You have experience and basic knowledge of field measurement and map production. We want you to be meticulous, technically interested, and enjoy working independently and in a group.

It is advantageous if you have knowledge of measurement with Trimble GNSS and the VA-bank. A driving license (B) is a requirement.
