Projector in Communication Solutions

Combitech in Östersund is looking for an engaged and technology-interested projector to strengthen our team in communication solutions. Your role as a projector in communication solutions

As a projector with us, you will work with a wonderful mix of both new and old technology in the communication field. You will participate in reconnaissance of current projects, prepare material lists, reports, calculations, and manage work documentation for installation. Our assignments usually consist of implementing new equipment or upgrading existing ones.

Your main task will be to manage and meet the various needs and requests of customers. During the project, you will act as a sounding board and technical support for our traveling installation teams, and together you will ensure that the projects reach their goals. In addition to the close cooperation with the installation teams, you will also work with logisticians, project managers, and administrators.

The culture in our section

The culture in our section is characterized by the desire to be businesslike and performance-oriented with good quality towards our customers. Your main assignments are primarily linked to the Swedish Armed Forces and FMV, but sometimes also to more civilian customers.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a solid interest in technology and who enjoys taking responsibility for their tasks. You will mostly work according to given processes, but sometimes it requires you to think a bit and find your own solution to the problem. Your main tasks will be performed in the office, but since we strive for close cooperation with our installers, you will occasionally assist in the field. Most of the work will be done in Word, Excel, and AutoCAD, and we see it as an advantage if you have worked in these programs before.

Since we work closely together within our team, it is of utmost importance that you are a team player and want to contribute to a good working environment. You should have good collaboration skills, be service-oriented, and have a drive in your way of being. To succeed in this role, you need to have a B driver's license and good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have a technical interest, previous experience in the installation profession, climbing certification for masts and towers, as well as knowledge in the areas of electrical/telecommunications, radio links, IP installations, or general transmission knowledge. The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations.

Since the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must undergo and be approved in a security review with a background check.
