About the role

As a survey technician with us, you will be responsible for conducting accurate measurements and documentation in our projects. Using modern technology such as total stations, GNSS equipment, and drones, you will ensure that our projects maintain the highest quality and precision.

You are an important part of the project team throughout the construction process – from planning to completed project. Together with site managers and supervisors, you will drive the measurement work forward and ensure that all data is handled and processed correctly for setting out, machine control, and quantity calculations.

Your main responsibilities:

• Be responsible for field measurements, including surveying and setting out.
• Manage and calibrate total stations and GNSS equipment.
• Create and manage 3D models and auxiliary models for machine control.
• Process measurements and establish as-built documentation.
• Data management of setting out and surveying materials.
• Support project management in quantity-related projects.
• Collaborate with the project team to identify and solve any measurement issues.
• Ensure that measurements are performed according to applicable safety regulations and quality standards.
• Contribute to improvements in processes and working methods within surveying technology.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is structured and meticulous, with analytical skills and an eye for detail. You have good problem-solving abilities and thrive in a role where you can combine technology with practical work in the field.

You enjoy collaborating and communicating with both colleagues and external parties to ensure effective and high-quality measurement processes.

We hope you have:

• Technical education in surveying, land surveying, geotechnics, or construction (YH, university, or equivalent work experience).
• Experience in measurement within construction and civil engineering projects, road and railway construction, or industry.
• Experience working with total stations, GNSS/GPS equipment, and digital measurement systems.
• Knowledge of reading drawings, surveying, and setting out.
• Experience with measuring instruments such as Trimble, Leica, or Topcon.
• Familiarity with measurement and calculation software such as AutoCAD, SBG Geo, Novapoint, or Topocad.
• Understanding of geodetic reference systems and coordinate systems.
