Librarian Wanted for School in Linköping

We are currently looking for a librarian who will work one day a week at a small but wonderful school in Linköping.

As a librarian at this school, you will play a key role in promoting a love of reading and providing our students with the best conditions for learning and development. You will be an important part of a small but dedicated team where everyone strives to create a positive and stimulating environment for our students.

About the position:

• Working hours: 1 day a week.
• Location: A small school in Linköping.
• Start: By agreement.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone with a degree in library science (this is a requirement) and preferably with experience working with children and young people. We value experience in school libraries or similar environments, but it is not a requirement – your commitment and desire to create an inspiring and welcoming library environment are the most important!

You are someone who enjoys sharing your passion for books and reading. You thrive in working independently but also find it easy to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school's development. A positive and service-oriented attitude is something we see as a given.

Your responsibilities include:

• Managing the daily operations and administration of the school library.
• Assisting students in finding the right books and information.
• Creating and developing activities and events to promote reading and knowledge.
• Collaborating with the school’s teachers to support teaching and students' learning.
