Now there is a chance to work in a state-of-the-art production environment at Hitachi Energy in Figeholm alongside our ambitious and knowledgeable production team. We manufacture Presspan, which is insulation material for transformers. We have about 100 employees.

As a Production Manager at Hitachi Energy in Figeholm, your leadership skills will take center stage as you develop, motivate, and engage your team responsible for meeting production targets.

You will report to the production manager and lead a team with applied working hours (5-shift, which means production continues even when you are not present).

You will also contribute to close collaboration with your fellow production leaders, working towards common goals. The production is dynamic with deadlines to meet, and you are comfortable making quick decisions when necessary.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference and influence a company that plays a key role in the green transformation of our society.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Drive active work according to Hitachi's management system for quality, environment, and occupational health and safety.
• Have personnel responsibility for approximately 60 employees (distributed among the production leaders) with a focus on safety, quality, and performance.
• Lead recruitment and development of staff.
• Have certain financial responsibility.
• Set goals for the department; develop, visualize, and follow up on goals.
• Drive the department's improvement work.
• Ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and agreements.

Your Background

• You have previous leadership experience as a manager or have had the opportunity to lead others in projects.
• You are confident in your role as a leader with good communication skills to convey and delegate work. You see it as natural to develop both your team and the business.
• As a leader, you strive to create a shared vision and build a strong team spirit; you enjoy working with people and uplifting them.
• You are proficient in MS Office.
• You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English to interact with many different people in our organization.
• It is a plus if you have previous leadership experience in production, preferably industrial.
