Job Description

As a machine designer, you will develop and design engineering solutions in collaboration with the team, be responsible for drawings and technical documentation, and provide materials for preparation and purchasing. You will also participate in development projects and ensure the quality of our machine solutions. Your role involves close collaboration with both internal and external parties to drive projects forward and contribute to the company's innovative strength.

You will report to Fredrik Hägglund. The location is in Kalmar.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a technical education at the university level or equivalent work experience and experience in mechanical design. You need to have good knowledge of CAD programs, preferably Solid Works, as well as an understanding of mechatronics and machining. As a machine designer, you must be an engaged, attentive, and curious team player who works in a structured and precise manner. You also need to have the ability to lead development projects through internal and external partners and be proficient in English, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have experience working in an international environment and previous experience in similar roles within the aerospace industry or other high-tech sectors. Knowledge of more advanced CAD programs and previous experience working with customized solutions is also beneficial. Experience in project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams can give you an advantage in the recruitment process.
