We have now begun our journey to become an even stronger player in the hydropower segment, as we see an increased demand for this type of challenging construction projects. To meet the market, we need to strengthen our organization within our geography, Hydropower Central, which spans the following counties: Jämtland, Västernorrland, Dalarna, Gävleborg, Uppsala, Västmanland, Stockholm, and Södermanland, with an additional Project Manager who wants to take on a larger project.  

The position of Project Manager Large Projects
As a Project Manager, you will primarily work with hydropower projects, but other types of construction projects may also be relevant. You have the main responsibility for the implementation of the projects, including progress, quality, working environment, economy, and environment. You will have a team of professionals and skilled workers to assist you. You will be responsible for projects with a turnover of approximately 100–200 million SEK per year.

You will support the site manager throughout the production process, manage customer contacts, and ensure that customer expectations are met. In some cases, you will also participate in the bidding process and always focus on selling additional projects to existing customers.

You will report to Simon, production manager for the Hydropower Central area and Construction/Land in Jämtland.

About the Civil North Department
The Civil North Department has approximately 450 employees and operates within land and construction from design and construction to production and maintenance within infrastructure, construction work, and services including earthworks and water and sewage work. We are divided into several production groups where you belong to our Hydropower Sweden operation.

Your profile as Project Manager
You have many years of experience managing larger construction projects in civil engineering, building, or from the client side, as well as experience leading personnel.

As you have overall responsibility for both the project's economy and personnel, good knowledge of project management is required, which includes planning, production calculations, risk assessments, financial monitoring, and various production methods. You are driven by making good business deals and understand the importance of close customer relationships to create successful projects.

You thrive in the leadership role and understand the importance of setting clear goals and communicating them to your team members. You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships and build effective teams.

You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Additional information
The position is a permanent employment with placement primarily at the assigned project within the group's geography and NCC's local office. A car and driver's license are required as the position involves a significant amount of travel. In accordance with NCC's safety culture, we conduct background checks on our final candidates.
