We are looking for a temporary Project Manager for our Maintenance Unit at Uppsalahem. In this role, you will contribute to the development of attractive and sustainable living environments for our tenants in Uppsala. As a Project Manager, you will lead and drive projects focused on maintenance. You will be responsible for the entire process, from planning to completion, ensuring that the project team works efficiently and purposefully. You will have a cross-functional role with multiple points of contact, both with internal colleagues and externally with contractors and consultants. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and be part of the Maintenance Unit.

Your main tasks:

• Plan and lead multiple projects simultaneously

• Coordinate personnel, both internal and external resources

• Be responsible for project management against established quality, budget, and timeframes

• Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders, authorities, and organizations

• Work in accordance with Uppsalahem's established project process while also contributing to the development of processes and methodologies

• Participate in procurement for maintenance projects in collaboration with Uppsalahem's purchasing unit and project managers

We are looking for someone who has:

• A relevant academic degree in construction or property management or another equivalent relevant education

• Several years of relevant work experience in project management

• A valid driver's license (B)

• Very good knowledge of Swedish with the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing

If you also have experience working in the public sector, that is a plus.

You are meticulous, attentive, and feel confident in managing all stages of the construction process, from idea to completion. You enjoy working independently but also find it easy to collaborate in various forums and groups. You are structured, goal-oriented, and creative, with the ability to think outside the box and see things from different perspectives. You are flexible and have a strong understanding of both municipal processes and construction technical issues, as well as the ability to understand and meet the needs of different stakeholders.
