ABOUT THE POSITION

Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant is one of the largest electricity producers in Sweden, producing one-sixth of the electricity consumed in Sweden. Here, you who have an interest in the energy sector have a unique opportunity to develop as a technician in the operational maintenance team for the reactor tank. You will belong to a smaller team and thus have close collaboration with three colleagues and a supervisor. Together you work with a clear focus on the maintenance of the reactors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Tasks

A typical workday begins with a work briefing together with your colleagues by reviewing instructions and gathering tools. Once the preparations are complete, you obtain the necessary permits to start the work. The work mainly consists of preventive as well as corrective and authority-driven operational maintenance for the reactor tank, main circulation pumps, and actuators. Everyone in the department helps out in the different areas and supports each other where needed.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Have completed high school education, preferably with a technical focus or equivalent work experience
Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as well as basic knowledge of English
Have a driver's license (B) and access to a car, as shift work and flexible working hours may occur.

It is an advantage if you have worked with mechanical maintenance work.

The position is security classified, which means that a security screening will be conducted before employment. The security screening includes a background check and a security interview in accordance with the Security Protection Act. In addition to the security screening, a drug test will be conducted.
