POSITION OVERVIEW:

The HR Generalist will be primarily responsible for ensuring that all HR-related administrative duties are completed in a timely and accurate manner. This includes issues raised by current and future employees and matters related to employment, compensation, and benefits, labor negotiations, employee relations, recruitment, training, and policies. The HR Coordinator will manage the onboarding process and provide information and assistance throughout the employment lifecycle.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the HR mail-inbox, answer queries, and provide basic practical advice to managers and employees concerning policies and procedures.
  • Assist managers in dealing with requests and issues relating to maternity, parental leave, and annual leave.
  • Support employees by providing information and assistance throughout the employment lifecycle.
  • Supporting the HR Director in educating employees and enforcing company policies.
  • Support the HR Director with trade union negotiations.
  • Conduct exit interviews, when necessary.
  • Research and undertake specific projects and other ad-hoc tasks.
  • Keep up to date with developments in employment legislation, company HR policies, and HR best practices to ensure continuous growth.
  • Support employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance-related matters.
  • Assist with the onboardingof new employees.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • 1-2 years of proven experience in relevant HR positions.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws in Sweden.
  • Knowledge of HR principles, practises and employment laws in other European countries are mertiable.
  • Effective HR administration and people management skills.
  • Exposure to payroll practices.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.

TOOLS & SYSTEMS

Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office Suit, HRIS, and related business and communication tools.
