Within the Social Care Administration, approximately 1,200 engaged employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home help services, disability services, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care.

Job Description

As a Welfare Technology Coordinator, you will have a broad assignment where you work both strategically and operationally. You will take over the mapping that has already been done in the administration and drive the work forward, with a special focus on elderly care. Your task is to ensure, together with managers, employees, and users, that we use welfare technology in a way that creates real benefit for users' security, quality, and independence, as well as for staff's working environment and efficiency.

In the role, you will among other things:

  • Map needs, introduce and follow up on various welfare technology solutions
  • Be a support to managers and employees in daily matters regarding welfare technology
  • Coordinate contacts with suppliers and participate in procurement and testing of new solutions
  • Collaborate closely with the digitalization unit, IT, and other internal and external actors
  • Develop and conduct training initiatives for staff
  • Contribute to developing working methods, routines, and guidelines that support a long-term sustainable use of welfare technology
  • Monitor the external environment and suggest improvements based on the organization's needs.

The project has clear goals, one of which is to develop a model for steering, coordination, and follow-up of welfare technology.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are analytical and curious, and have an easy time seeing the connections between legislation, the organization's needs, and technical possibilities. You enjoy collaborating, building contacts, and creating participation among employees, managers, and users. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and can translate complex issues into language that is easy to understand. Your ability to create trust and engagement is central, as is your willingness to learn new things and try new working methods. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant university education, for example in technology, care and support, social work, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
  • Experience from municipal care and support and is accustomed to working with digital solutions or assistive devices in operations.
  • A good technical understanding and thrives in driving change and development work.
  • Driver's license category B.

It is meritorious if you have experience in digital operational development, project management, change management, or work with digitalization in the public sector.

The position is a project assignment that currently extends until 2028-12-31.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-10-01 Or as agreed.
Working hours: Daytime.
