About the Assignment

As a Payroll Specialist in this assignment, you play a significant role in ensuring the quality of the payroll process. In addition to working with payroll from hiring to termination, you will actively participate in digitizing routines, processes, and creating manuals for personnel administration. You will have extensive contact with managers and employees across the country and will handle payroll for both unionized employees and white-collar workers.

Your main responsibilities:

• Operational work with the entire payroll process
• Internal reporting to finance
• External reporting to authorities such as the Swedish Tax Agency, Statistics Sweden (SCB), and the Swedish Enforcement Authority
• Handling year-end and holiday year-end changes in the payroll system and file transfers to the bank
• Supporting managers/employees in collective agreement matters regarding salary/compensation
• System administration in the HR system
• Work on streamlining the payroll process

The position is a consultancy assignment where you will be employed by Emploid and hired as a consultant to the client company.

About You

To thrive in the role of Payroll Specialist, you are meticulous, team-oriented, and have a natural ability to collaborate with and support your colleagues. You have a positive attitude and can handle an occasionally high and uneven workload without compromising on quality. You have great patience and a strong desire to drive things forward, meaning you take ownership of your work and drive it with a high degree of independence.

In addition, the following are required to be considered for the position:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field
• A few years of experience in qualified payroll work and competence in the entire payroll process
• Experience working with interpreting collective agreements
• Experience working in a system-oriented manner with the payroll process and knowledge of file transfers
• Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English

Working Hours: Full-time, Office hours 08:00-16:45
