District Nurse/Registered Nurse at Gävle Strand Health Centre

In one of Gävle's fastest-growing residential areas, in the inner harbor where the Gavleån river meets the sea, lies Gävle Strand Din hälsocentral. We currently have approximately 8,400 registered patients and are located close to the bus and train station, offering excellent commuting opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

We provide standard primary care including district nurse clinics, doctor's clinics, Child Health Care (BVC), psychosocial teams, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and home visits. We also have specialist nurse clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, and health talks aimed at 40-year-olds.

As a district nurse/registered nurse with us, you will work with:

• Varied clinic work involving both scheduled appointments and acute cases.
• Telephone advice.
• Advice and assessment in our digital systems; Min vård Gävleborg and 1177 Mina vårdkontakter.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is flexible, responsible, solution-focused, and has good collaboration skills. You are stress-resistant and able to prioritize your tasks. You want to develop medical quality, and we welcome ideas and suggestions for improvement. Professional responsibility and good customer service are a matter of course for us.

As a district nurse/registered nurse, you must:

• Be a registered nurse with further education as a district nurse, or a registered nurse with at least four years of experience.
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B).

For this position, experience in primary care and counseling is meritorious, as is knowledge of the medical record system Cosmic.
