Do you thrive on coordinating, driving projects forward, and creating results together with others? Do you want to help transform apartments into comfortable homes for our tenants? Then the role of Apartment Project Manager at Heimstaden could be your next step.
About the Role
As an Apartment Project Manager, you are responsible for coordinating and driving renovation projects in our properties, primarily in Skåne. Every year, we renovate a large number of apartments in connection with move-outs, carrying out both partial and total renovations according to Heimstaden's concept. In this role, you will have the opportunity to follow projects from start to finish and ensure that the work is carried out with high quality, good economics, and professional collaboration among all involved parties.
You work closely with property management, rent negotiators, and contractors, playing a key role in creating structure, progress, and quality throughout the process. Your tasks include preparing request for proposal (RFP) documents, evaluating bids, procurement, and contract negotiations. You monitor contractors during execution, conduct inspections, and ensure ongoing financial follow-up, including the handling of additional work orders (ÄTA). If needed, you will also drive smaller projects.
Requirements
To take on the role of Apartment Project Manager, you have experience from the construction or real estate industry, either through post-secondary education or at least two years of relevant work experience, combined with a secondary education background. You have a good understanding of project processes, and we would appreciate if you have knowledge of contract law and building regulations.
You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and have good skills in the Office suite. Experience with financial and property management systems, preferably Vitec, is a plus. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required, and access to your own car is preferred.
To thrive in this role, you need to be structured, detail-oriented, and have strong planning and prioritization skills, even when the pace is fast. At the same time, you are flexible and adapt easily when conditions change. You take responsibility for your tasks, drive work forward, and have a natural ability to build trusting relationships with colleagues, contractors, and other partners. We also value a positive attitude, lack of pretension, and a good sense of humor.
Additional Information
