The Business Area (VO) Basprojekt is responsible for Region Skåne's extensions and renovations, driving approximately 600 projects annually with project budgets ranging from around one million to one billion SEK across Skåne. VO Basprojekt is now seeking driven, structured, and competent Installation Project Managers with a focus on HVAC (VVS) to strengthen our Project Management units in Lund and Malmö.

Job Responsibilities

In your role as Project Manager, you act as the client for the installation project. As a Project Manager, you have overall responsibility for the project regarding time, quality, and economy. You initiate, drive, and structure your own tasks. Region Skåne's properties are technology-intensive, so it is required that you have a good understanding of technically complex buildings.

You conduct cost calculations, preliminary studies, and investigations, as well as procure consultants and lead their work in preparing request for proposals. Furthermore, you procure the contractor and are responsible for monitoring the contractor until approved final inspection and responsible for the handover to Region Skåne's operations organization.

In your role, you are responsible for and take ownership of the entire progress of the installation project, ensuring resources and project scope so that the right time, quality, and economy are maintained. You are responsible for ensuring that all laws, regulations, and governing guidelines are followed in the construction project in accordance with Region Skåne's Construction Process, and that Region Skåne's procurement rules according to the Public Procurement Act (LOU) are followed.

As a Project Manager, you are a key person in contact with the operations that provide care in the and surrounding premises where the renovation is to take place. Since healthcare operations are often ongoing for large parts of and/or around the clock, it is important that you, in close collaboration with the operations, plan how the renovation can be carried out in the best way.

Travel within parts of Skåne occurs in the position.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an engineering degree in HVAC (VVS) or alternatively other education that the employer deems equivalent, or that you have equivalent competence acquired through several years of work experience. You have good knowledge and experience of technical installations within the HVAC profession, as well as a good understanding of all technical systems and installations in the building. We see that you have good knowledge and experience of leading complex renovation or new construction projects. Good computer skills are a necessity in the role, and you must have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. We would like you to have good knowledge of AB, ABT, ABK, work with preparing administrative prescriptions, and procurement of consultants and contractors. A B-driver's license is a requirement as there is some travel within Skåne.

If you have also worked with procurement according to LOU, it is meritorious. Likewise, if you have experience working with project management and production management.

You as a person are secure, stable, and have good self-awareness. In your work, you are self-reliant and structured, which means that you plan the work in advance, organize and prioritize activities efficiently, and set up and maintain schedules. Other important qualities are that you are flexible, come up with ideas, and are interested in developing our ways of working. To succeed in the work, we see that you are communicative and relationship-building both within and outside your own organization. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
