A snapshot of your day

As a Quality Engineer for electrical installations, you work close to the final assembly and follow our gas turbines through the assembly phase. Your daily routine combines practical quality work with problem-solving, dialogue, and collaboration with various competencies. You become part of an experienced team that supports each other, shares knowledge, and always strives to further elevate quality. The work is varied – some days you conduct inspections out in the assembly area, other days you coordinate deviations or drive improvements together with colleagues in design, purchasing quality, and assembly management. Here, you get to use your technical expertise while contributing to developing our working methods and ensuring that every delivery meets the highest standards.

How you will make an impact

  • You will perform ongoing inspections of gas turbines in the assembly phase according to established checklists.
  • Participate in assembly clearances and conduct final inspections prior to delivery.
  • Handle and coordinate deviation reports and contribute to structured solutions.
  • Be a support to the assembly team on electrical-related matters and maintain close dialogue with assembly managers and other disciplines.
  • Strengthen the team's competence through your experience, observations, and improvement proposals.

What you bring

Whether you are experienced or relatively new to the industry, you are welcome to apply – we are happy to teach you the rest if you have the right attitude and interest in technology.

  • We prefer that you have experience in the installation, commissioning, or design of electrical systems – preferably within the Machinery Directive, aviation, automotive, or similar fields.
  • You have an education in electrical power, installation, or design and a good understanding of requirements and execution within electrical installation.
  • Experience or certification in EICEx/ATEX is highly meritorious.
  • Authorization in low voltage is meritorious.
  • Experience with quality work and deviation management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with IT systems such as SAP and PLM is meritorious.
  • You work with quality and electrical safety as obvious cornerstones.
  • You have the ability to work independently, plan your day, and at the same time be a team player who communicates and collaborates to achieve the best results.

About the team

You will become part of Manufacturing & Assembly within the quality function – a department that supports production and assembly within MGT. The Electrical Group currently consists of six experienced colleagues who distribute the work together and help each other where needed. Your workplace is both in the office and out in the assembly area, where you conduct inspections and support the staff. The role gives you great freedom to plan your work, and you collaborate closely with the manager, requirement owners, and project management. We are currently in an expansion phase – and as part of the team, you help enable this growth. Periodically, you will be challenged both technically and volumetrically, but you always have competent colleagues by your side.

Within the Gas Services division, we offer energy solutions with zero or low emissions based on our gas turbines gathered under one roof, along with steam turbines and generators. Through service, modernization, and digitalization of the delivered fleet, we create opportunities for a reduced climate footprint.

We can offer you favorable employment benefits such as reduced working hours, advance vacation, wellness allowance, and possibly the opportunity for a flexible workplace.
