Your responsibilities We regularly receive requests for mechanical engineers for Saab! Through your application, you will have the opportunity to be matched with various positions based on your interests, experience, and competencies.

As an engineer at Saab, you will work on development, design, and adaptations by creating various concepts and proposals within engineering. You will have significant responsibility for meeting the requirements and customer expectations. The work involves interaction and close collaboration with colleagues and other internal stakeholders such as production engineers and production teams.

Depending on your specialization, the tasks may vary. Examples of tasks include 3D modeling using CAD tools such as Catia V5 and Solid Edge, work with electrical design and circuit diagrams, development of electrical systems, and integration of electrical or mechanical components. Saab is a large employer where there is a constant need for both mechanical and electronic engineers, and together with you, we will explore where you fit best!

Your profile We are interested in contacting you if you have a few years of experience in the field. We are looking for someone with an interest in technology and good knowledge of mechanical design. As a person, you are self-motivated, structured, and solution-oriented. Since the role involves close contact with several different departments and roles, we would appreciate it if you are communicative and willing to collaborate.

Requirements for the positions:

• Post-secondary education in technology as a foundation, for example in mechanical engineering, product development, or similar.
• Previous experience in mechanical, electrical, or tool design or related areas.
• Knowledge and/or experience with CAD systems.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Experience with Catia V5 and Solid Edge is highly advantageous.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance procedures according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
