Svenska Trappsteg is looking for a self-sufficient employee for Stockholm.

Svenska Trappsteg is the leading company in staircase renovation using solid oak and 3-strip materials. We have been in operation for approximately nineteen years and are active in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Uppsala, and Skåne. This position covers Stockholm and the surrounding area. We are a small company with friendly and dedicated colleagues.

Your tasks will primarily consist of:

• Renovating staircases, which involves cladding the steps with oak treads.
• Installing nosing strips.
• Painting staircases.
• Replacing handrails.
• Performing noise reduction measures.
• Securing/closing off staircases.

Other tasks may include floor laying and other woodworking/carpentry jobs.

Competence: You should be experienced in handling common tools such as circular saws, multi-tools, and other hand tools, as well as have experience with painting work. Stress resistance is a plus. We offer good working hours.

You will be paired with a colleague for an introductory period until you can work independently. You should enjoy working autonomously.

You will start with a trial period/practice of a few days to ensure mutual fit before a six-month probationary employment begins. This is followed by a permanent position.

Requirements: A valid driver's license is mandatory. You must have access to parking at your home. Since our warehouse is located in Täby, you should live in the Täby, Vallentuna, Sollentuna, Åkersberga, or nearby areas.

References are desirable. You should have stable and orderly personal circumstances.
