District Nurse at Gävle Strand Primary Health Care Centre
In one of Gävle's fastest-growing residential areas, in the inner harbour where the Gavleån river meets the sea, lies Gävle Strand Primary Health Care Centre. We currently have approximately 8,400 registered patients. We are located in close proximity to the bus and train station, offering excellent commuting opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
We provide standard primary care with a district nurse clinic, doctor's clinic, Child Health Centre (BVC), psychosocial team, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and home visits. We also have specialist nurse clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, as well as health talks aimed at 40-year-olds.
As a district nurse with us, you will, among other things, work with:
- Standard district nursing work within primary care
- Varying clinic work with both scheduled and acute visits
- Asthma/COPD clinic
- Telephone advice
- Advice and assessment in our digital systems; Min vård Gävleborg and 1177 My Health Contacts.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is flexible, responsible, solution-focused, and has good collaboration skills. You are stress-resistant and have the ability to prioritize your tasks. You also want to develop medical quality, and we welcome ideas and suggestions for improvement. Professional responsibility and good customer service are a matter of course for us.
In the role of district nurse, you must:
- Be a registered district nurse
- Have at least 15 credits in an asthma/COPD higher education course
- Have a B driving license.
For this position, it is meritorious if you have experience working in primary care and counseling, and if you have knowledge of the medical record system Cosmic. It is also meritorious if you have experience working with the asthma/COPD clinic.
