Träkvistaterrassen is our newly built and modern special housing for the elderly located in central Träkvista in Ekerö. Träkvistaterrassen is a modern, newly built residential care facility where residents are offered care, support, and service characterized by professional and respectful treatment. Digital solutions are used as a natural support for both staff and residents, creating security and simplifying everyday life. The facility is centrally located in Ekerö, in a safe and accessible area. The facility has space for 70 residents, distributed across seven units.

Job Description

In Ekerö Municipality, you have the opportunity to make a difference for the elderly. Nursing work here is independent, enjoyable, and developmental. You work in teams with various professions, both within the municipality and with other actors – something that gives you great opportunities to grow in your professional role. Do you want to work as a nurse in a beautiful environment where nature meets care and quality? We are now looking for you who want to make a difference – to our municipal elderly care home in Ekerö Municipality.

Together we create good and patient-safe care for our residents. The team-based approach is an important part of making this possible. We believe you are attracted by varied work and enjoy meeting people in different situations.

You are responsible for healthcare interventions up to the nurse level. You inform and supervise nursing staff in their daily work. In the evenings and on weekends, you have special responsibility for the operations. You work systematically and contribute to good patient safety work and quality work. You actively participate in and contribute to good teamwork.

Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse, and we would appreciate it if you have a few years of experience with a focus on elderly care. It is an advantage if you have experience or further education in areas such as geriatrics, dementia, or palliative care.

As a person, you are meticulous, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You contribute to a good work environment through professional and respectful treatment towards residents, relatives, and colleagues. The meeting with residents and their relatives is central to the nurse role with us, and we particularly value your ability to do this with a positive attitude. We are looking for an independent and engaged individual with openness to new thinking and skills in prioritizing and finding solutions.

The position involves working days, evenings, and weekends – including major holidays.

To work for Ekerö Municipality in elderly care, you must present an extract (HVB) from the police's criminal record register together with valid photo ID before employment. You request the extract on the police's website. The extract must not be older than six months from the date of issue. We apply a probationary period.
