Description

The Environmental Unit works for a healthy and safe living environment and a good built environment. We serve two municipalities, Gislaved and Tranemo, through a joint board. We offer flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a new employee for our health protection group. You will work with housing inspections, investigate complaints, supervise solariums, tattoo businesses, swimming pools, and more. You plan, carry out, and follow up on your supervision individually and with the work group.

Qualifications

You must have a university degree in natural sciences or equivalent. You have good knowledge of how environmental factors affect human health. You have good knowledge of environmental law, administrative law, and the Local Government Act. Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required. You have a professional attitude and good ability to structure and prioritize tasks. Experience with Environmental Code supervision is necessary.

You must have a Category B driver's license.
