Your Responsibilities

We regularly receive requirements for production engineering roles at Saab! By applying, you will have the opportunity to be matched with various positions based on your interests, experience, and competencies.

As a Production Engineer at Saab, your tasks may vary depending on the assignment and business unit, but the common denominator is that you work close to production with a focus on ensuring efficient, robust, and high-quality processes.

Examples of tasks include:

• Developing, optimizing, and continuously improving production processes.
• Providing technical support to production and operators in daily work.
• Participating in or driving activities related to efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Implementing product changes and creating/updating instructions and documentation.
• Assisting with the installation, startup, and commissioning of machinery and equipment.
• Working with tools, fixtures, and equipment-related improvements.
• Identifying and solving technical problems in production.
• Contributing to the development of production flows and manufacturability.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a strong technical interest and want to develop within production engineering. You are solution-oriented, structured, and thrive in an environment where you can combine practical work with improvement and development issues.

You have the ability to work both independently and in teams, and are motivated by contributing to an efficient and well-functioning production.

Requirements for the positions:

• Post-secondary education in production engineering, mechanical engineering, process technology, or similar.
• Experience from manufacturing industry or work close to production.
• Good understanding of production processes and technical flows.
• Ability to work in a structured manner and handle both operational and longer-term tasks.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have experience in areas such as automation, testing, quality, or working with complex products.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
