Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) Assessment and Investigation Unit in Gävle is looking for a Psychologist
The CAP Assessment and Investigation Unit in Gävle is a well-functioning unit with a friendly and knowledgeable staff group. At the clinic, we have a broad range of competencies, with employees who are psychologists, doctors, nurses, social workers, care assistants, special educators, speech therapists, and medical secretaries.
The largest professional group is psychologists. Currently, eight licensed psychologists, one PTP-psychologist, and two psychology assistants work at the clinic. The clinic fosters a climate that encourages consulting colleagues when needed. We offer regular further education, competence development, and supervision.

Job Responsibilities
The main task at the CAP clinic Södertull in Gävle is to work closely with other staff on psychiatric assessments and investigations for children and adolescents aged 0-17. Together with other professionals, you will make decisions regarding care planning for each patient and participate regularly in daytime on-call duties. Collaboration with neighboring care providers and other actors such as child and adolescent habilitation, school health services, social services, and family health is an important part of the work. Although the main task is assessment and investigation, there is an opportunity to work with psychological treatment. The operations are constantly developing, and as a psychologist, you may also participate in both local and county-wide operational development projects. The psychology group has monthly supervision in diagnostics led by a specialist psychologist.
We aim to enable clear competence development for you as an employee, regardless of whether you are a new or experienced psychologist, based on the needs of the operations.

Qualifications
This is a position for you who are structured and responsible. The work assumes that you are problem-solving, have good cooperation skills, and a good manner of dealing with people. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
In the role of psychologist, you must:
- Be a licensed psychologist or hold a psychology degree
- Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you have experience working with neuropsychiatric assessments, within psychiatry, or with children and adolescents.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, Start date: By agreement.
