Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer within GATA/VA (Water and Sewerage) at Gislaved Municipality, you are responsible for driving smaller infrastructure projects, as well as handling project design, drawings, calculations, and participating in planning work. You may also become involved in larger infrastructure projects as support to the main project manager.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with both internal colleagues and external parties. You report to the Unit Manager or Department Manager.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction/Infrastructure Engineering, or other equivalent education.
• Experience working with Civil 3D.
• The ability to understand technical material and convey it clearly to others.
• A valid driver's license (Category B) (the position involves travel within the municipality).

Merits

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience acting as a public purchaser and good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU).
• Previous experience working in a politically governed organization.
• Experience from field work.
