About the Operations

The adult psychiatric services in Örnsköldsvik consist of two outpatient clinics, a specialist psychiatric nursing team, and emergency services. The outpatient clinics have a general psychiatric focus and serve individuals over 18 years of age who require psychiatric care at a specialist level.

Clinic A primarily works with patients suffering from psychotic disorders and affective conditions. The main task of Clinic B is to investigate and treat patients with neuropsychiatric disabilities and psychiatric comorbidity. The clinics are centrally located in Örnsköldsvik. A total of approximately 50 therapists from various professions work at the clinics.

We meet patients with a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions. We place great emphasis on good treatment, assessment/diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment. We are HBTQI-certified. We offer a good working community in a pleasant team and opportunities for development. We enjoy the advantages of being both a smaller unit and part of a larger clinic.

We are now looking for two nurses/psychiatric nurses for psychiatric Clinic A. The position is for a permanent full-time employment with immediate start, subject to agreement.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse in the team, you will work with:

• Standard nursing tasks
• Dispensing medication and administering injections
• Offering patients supportive conversations

Working as a clinic nurse may also be part of this role. As a clinic nurse, your duties include:

• Processing cases received via 1177 and TeleQ
• Collaborating with colleagues of different professions and care partners
• Handling functional mailboxes

You work independently but are also part of a team with other professions. You will receive good support from friendly and helpful colleagues. Mentorship is offered.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you

• Have further education as a psychiatric nurse
• Have work experience within psychiatry
