The Role of Personal Assistant

As a personal assistant, you represent Hela Sveriges Assistans. In this role, you will complete a web-based training course on working as a personal assistant. Together with the client and your colleagues, you will strive for high quality and adhere to the company's values and policies.

As a personal assistant, you are responsible for staying informed about information sent from the head office and, when necessary, seeking information available on the website. For other matters, you should contact your supervisor or the head office.

About your role as a personal assistant with me

I am an active 65-year-old man living with my wife and our dog.

You will help me with daily tasks such as grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning. I require some assistance with personal hygiene. I enjoy being outdoors with the dog and going for car rides. I usually use a wheelchair but can use a walker for short distances.

Where is the assistance provided?

Wherever I am, mostly in Skanör.

Who are you?

I am looking for someone who is enthusiastic and has good motivational skills. You should be interested in cooking and be animal-friendly.

What does the working time look like?

Day/evening and weekends, approx. 87%.

In daily work, there are job descriptions and routines to follow. What else we do during the day is determined by me based on my condition, wishes, and needs.

We are currently looking for a colleague on a hourly contract with an employment rate of approx. 60%. The position starts immediately.

Requirements

• Experience in personal assistance of at least 1 year.
• No dog allergies.
• Valid driver's license.

Merits

• Experience with dogs.
• Interest in cooking.

Before we offer employment, you must provide an unopened extract/digital mailbox view from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, for example, a passport or an approved work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency.

We train our employees to ensure the quality of personal assistance. All our new hires complete a web-based introductory training for personal assistants before their first work shift, or at the latest within one month after the start of employment.

As a personal assistant at Hela Sveriges Assistans AB, you are covered by the Almega/Healthcare Employers' collective agreement, which includes agreed pension benefits, training, and favorable wellness programs.
