RESPONSIBILITIES

Then we have a position for you! We are now looking for an engaged and solution-focused social worker for a position as a social secretary within economic assistance in Höganäs Municipality.

You will become part of a team consisting of 12 engaged colleagues: social secretaries within economic assistance, social secretaries within deceased estates, integration counselors, budget and debt counselors, as well as the unit manager. We work together with great engagement and a focus on quality, development, and collaboration.

As a social secretary within economic assistance, you are responsible for investigating, assessing, deciding on, and following up on interventions according to the Social Services Act. The work also involves supporting the individual on their path to self-sufficiency, through motivational interviewing, creating individual plans, and collaborating with internal and external actors. An important part of the assignment is to drive and develop collaboration with the municipality's labor market unit, where our common goal is to create conditions for residents to gain employment and achieve self-sufficiency. Within the group, we work with the entire process from the first conversation, new visits, follow-ups, and the work until the case is closed.

As part of the daily work, you regularly participate in team meetings and case guidance together with colleagues and supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a social work degree or another equivalent university degree, and who have experience working with economic assistance. You have good communication skills and express yourself clearly and structured in both speech and writing. You are professional, sensitive, and have a respectful approach. Furthermore, you have a good ability to work independently in your cases, while also enjoying collaborating in a team and contributing to shared responsibility. As a person, you are engaged and have a solution-focused approach. You are proactive and always one step ahead.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability, and a background check is conducted prior to employment.

We would prefer that you have experience working in the business system Lifecare. It is also meritorious if you have training in Motivational Interviewing (MI).

It is also an advantage if you have a driver's license; access to a company car is available.
