The Role of Personal Assistant

As a personal assistant, you represent Hela Sveriges Assistans. In this role, you will complete a web-based training course on working as a personal assistant. Together with the client and your colleagues, you will strive for high quality and adhere to the company's values and policies.

As a personal assistant, you are responsible for staying informed about information sent from headquarters and, if necessary, seeking information available on the website. For other matters, you should contact your supervisor or headquarters.

About your role as a personal assistant with me

I am an active 65-year-old man living with my wife and our dog.

You will help me with daily chores such as grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning. I require some assistance with personal hygiene. I enjoy being outdoors with the dog and going for car rides. I usually use a wheelchair but can use a walker for short distances.

Where is the assistance provided?

Wherever I am, mostly in Skanör.

Who are you?

I am looking for someone who is enthusiastic and has good motivational skills. You have an interest in food and are animal-friendly.

What does the working time look like?

Days, evenings, and weekends, approx. 87%.

In our daily work, there are job descriptions and routines to follow. Our activities during the day are determined by my daily condition, wishes, and needs.

We are currently looking for a colleague on a hourly basis with an employment degree of approx. 60%, starting immediately.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in personal assistance.
• No allergy to dogs.
• Valid driver's license.

Merits

• Experience with dogs.
• Interest in cooking.

Before we offer employment, you must present an unopened extract/digital mailbox from the police's criminal record register. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or an approved work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency.

We train our employees to ensure the quality of personal assistance. All our new employees complete a web-based introductory training for personal assistants before their first work assignment, or at the latest within one month of starting employment.

As a personal assistant at Hela Sveriges Assistans AB, you are covered by the Almega/Healthcare Employers' collective agreement, which includes agreed pension benefits, training, and favorable wellness programs.
