About the role

As an employee here, you represent Hornbach and serve as an example in terms of engagement, drive, and customer service. We are now looking for a store sales assistant for our flooring and tiling department.

Your main tasks will primarily consist of sales and advising customers. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you ensure that the customer can complete their project.

Examples of duties

• Active sales of the product range within the Flooring/Tiling department
• Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area.
• Responsible for incoming goods and display, as well as setup and restructuring on the department floor
• Analyze the department's product presentation.
• Be helpful on other departments if needed

Your profile

• Upper secondary education or equivalent, along with experience in retail.
• Relevant professional experience/education in flooring and tiling is an asset
• Passionate about offering our customers the best possible service
• Realize the customer's project through professional advice on our wide product range
• As a person, you are stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented
• Good physical condition as some departments require heavy lifting
• Forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4) and forklift experience are required

Working hours/Duration: Permanent. Full-time, 38.25 hours/week. Scheduled working hours on weekdays and every other weekend.

Salary: Salary according to collective agreement.
