We are now looking for a Team Leader for Operational Radiation Protection at Forsmarks Kraftgrupp.

The group is responsible, among other things, for supervising the production facilities regarding radiation protection, monitoring radiation doses to personnel, and preparing work regarding radiation protection. As a team leader, you will work in a well-mixed group where everyone works with the same purpose – to support daily operations with radiological knowledge together.

Your responsibilities

Lead and manage daily operations regarding personnel planning, tasks, and daily communication with the rest of the organization.

  • Drive development work together with the entire radiation protection organization
  • Work proactively and think long-term
  • Analyze incidents and be responsible for longer assignments
  • Represent radiation protection in various forums and be an expert in radiation protection matters
  • Update and write instructions

The position includes on-call duty and participation in Forsmark's emergency organization, which may involve working some weekends and evenings.

Requirements

You are interested in leading others, group dynamics/group development, and issues generally related to leadership. You care about the continued development journey of the individual and the group. Thinking strategically, having a broad perspective, and seeing long-term solutions come naturally to you, as well as analyzing complex questions to solve problems. You also adapt easily to changed conditions and see opportunities in changes. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and are good at meeting and collaborating with others.

  • Upper secondary education or alternatively longer work experience in a relevant field
  • Category B driver's license
  • Strong interest in leadership issues
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Merits

  • Longer experience as a radiation protection technician
  • Good knowledge within the field of radiation protection and radiology
  • Familiarity with the Forsmark facility
