About the Role

Forsmark Kraftgrupp is now seeking a Process Engineer within one of the areas: power systems, safety analyses, or core and fuel within reactor safety.

The Safety and Quality Department works with reviewing, supporting, and interpreting requirements related to radiation safety. The department supports the company's CEO regarding radiation safety issues. The goal is to ensure that Forsmark marginally meets safety-related requirements and that we are driving the development of safety within the company, linked to technology, operations, and culture.

You will work within the Radiation Safety unit. Our mission is to, together with other units on the safety department, drive the development and maintenance of reactor safety, radiation protection, and physical security at Forsmark. This is primarily done through independent radiation safety reviews and safety assessments of operational decisions.

You will maintain regular contact with authorities and build a broad network, both within the Vattenfall Group and externally. The work will give you a good overall view of the operations and the safety structure of the facilities.

Requirements

We are looking for you who are a university engineer, civil engineer, or have equivalent competence, either through other education or relevant work experience. You have extensive knowledge of the construction, operation, and maintenance of nuclear power plants. Experience working with nuclear power-related issues is a significant advantage.

The work requires collaboration, quality, and adherence to procedures. We value traits such as responsibility, clarity, and flexibility. You thrive when working together with others and are eager to share your knowledge, thereby contributing to the team's development. To succeed in the role, you need good communication skills and must be proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
