Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and driven Account Manager with expertise in the plastic, polymer, or chemical industry. In this role, you will work with project-driven sales in Scandinavia. If you are ready for an exciting challenge, this could be the job for you.
As an Account Manager at Ultrapolymers Nordic, you will have overall responsibility for developing and strengthening business relationships, as well as identifying and processing new customers and business opportunities. To succeed in this role, a high degree of independence, analytical ability, and strategic thinking are required to drive sales projects and create sustainable, long-term business.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing sales activities, working systematically towards set key figures and sales targets, and ensuring proactive contact and effective communication with both customers and colleagues. You will conduct market analyses and identify new business opportunities in line with the company's strategies. You will build long-term, trust-based customer relationships and business in collaboration with internal teams such as technical specialists and inside sales, acting as a key link between customers and our organization. You will participate in networking at a European level, actively engage in sales meetings and training, and stay updated on the industry to develop within your role.
In the role of Account Manager, you will actively use our CRM system for managing the sales pipeline, customer information, and project follow-up. It is an important part of the job to use a data-driven sales process to create structured and effective business development, maintain ongoing business, and ensure long-term growth.

The position is based at our office in central Gothenburg or from home, depending on your place of residence. It is advantageous if you live around Gothenburg, in Småland, Halland, or Skåne.
You are expected to be at customer sites 2–3 days per week. You report directly to the Country Manager Nordic/Baltic.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning and executing sales activities, including product demonstrations and campaigns, to effectively drive sales forward.
- Work proactively with market analyses.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Build long-term and trust-based customer relationships.
- Participate in networking at a European level and actively engage in sales meetings.
Qualifications
- A completed university degree in Industrial Economics, Business Administration, or education in Materials Technology or Chemical Engineering.
- Documented experience in B2B sales.
- Experience in manufacturing industries, such as plastic and polymer production, as well as the chemical engineering/chemical industry.
- Good computer and system proficiency.
- Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
- Very good knowledge of English.
- Experience in writing reports.
- Ability to travel for work.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
Meritorious
- Good knowledge of Norwegian and/or Danish in speech and writing.
To thrive in the role of Senior Account Manager Scandinavia, you need strong communication and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to create and maintain long-term business relationships. You are self-motivated, take significant responsibility for achieving your goals, and have a good understanding of sales processes and business development. Experience and insight into the unique conditions of the Scandinavian markets are an advantage and provide a strong foundation for success in this role.
