We are currently helping one of our clients in Karlskrona find a blaster for their projects across Sweden.

Your responsibilities

The client works with rock excavation projects throughout southern Sweden. This is not an office job – the work takes place outdoors year-round, regardless of the weather. Rain, wind, cold, or heat are part of everyday life. Therefore, we are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors and is not afraid of physical labor.

The work consists of rock blasting, as well as other tasks common in earthworks and civil engineering, such as drilling. Workdays may vary depending on the project, so you need to be flexible and ready to help out where needed.

Please note that the role involves travel, and you will often be stationed away from home during the week. We work on various projects, and this is a natural part of the job. Accommodation is provided when necessary.

Your background/Personal qualities

For us, attitude, responsibility, and team fit are more important than specific education or extensive experience. If you have the right drive and willingness to work, we can arrange further training down the line.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a strong work ethic and the right attitude
• Can handle working outdoors year-round
• Is not afraid to put in physical effort when needed
• Can work both independently and as part of a team
• Understands that the job involves travel and overnight stays during the week
• Has excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has a valid Category B driver's license

Experience with rock blasting/drilling or civil engineering is advantageous, but the most important thing is that you are reliable, hardworking, and a good fit for the team.
