Erikshjälpen is a children's rights organization with a non-profit second-hand business. Together, we share a common vision: a changed world where children's dreams come to life.
We work to combat poverty and vulnerability by promoting children's rights in 16 countries.
In Sweden, children's rights work is primarily conducted through Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad, in close collaboration with our second-hand stores. In total, we operate around 50 Erikshjälpen Second Hand stores in Sweden and Norway. One of Erikshjälpen Second Hand's missions is to generate as much surplus as possible for the children's rights organization Erikshjälpen.

Erikshjälpen is now looking for a logistics-interested team leader for our store in Örebro.
Description
As a team leader, you are operational and lead the daily work in the store together with your colleagues so that established surplus targets, social goals, and environmental goals are met. No day is like the other; as a team leader, we see that you are both flexible and enjoy varied work. Many of your working days involve meeting new people who start with us.
Responsibilities
Examples of tasks:
- Together with the store management and store employees, participate in and lead the daily work in Erikshjälpen's operations in Örebro.
- Together with the store management, you contribute to the development of the operations and are part of its leadership team.
- Work strategically together with store management to ensure the inflow of donations.
- Responsible for the store's pickups and drop-offs of gifts/goods with Erikshjälpen's truck, and logistics planning.
- Structure the donation reception and be responsible for its inventory management.
- You function as a team leader for employees, volunteers, and individuals undergoing work trials, activities, or other employment via authorities. This involves introduction, follow-up, and daily supervision.
- Jointly responsible for the store during opening hours, also having store responsibility on some weekends.
Qualifications
You have:
- relevant work experience in team leadership
- knowledge and experience of warehousing and logistics
- experience in retail work, preferably in retail
- good social skills and experience with customer interactions
- easily follow routines and ways of working
- Class B driver's license
Advantageous if you have:
- experience in and/or waste management
- experience in and/or transport booking.
- experience in and/or knowledge of valuing second-hand goods.
- experience meeting people in different life situations and contexts, as well as people with different functional variations
- forklift license
- knowledge of working environment
