Job Responsibilities

You play a central role in the care and support of our clients. The work is based on individual needs, implementation plans, and the organization's guidelines and goals. Your tasks include helping clients with activities they cannot do themselves, such as hygiene, social interaction, meals, and administering medication on delegation from a nurse.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a care assistant or trained assistant nurse and/or have other experience that the employer deems equivalent. We would appreciate it if you have experience working with the elderly. You should have good skills in communicating, as well as reading and writing in Swedish. We value flexibility, responsibility, initiative, and good teamwork skills. Since you work with people, a good attitude, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset are also important. Personal competencies are highly valued.

More about the position

The positions are permanent full-time. Working hours are scheduled during days/evenings and weekends. We use individual scheduling.

The home care service in Piteå consists of nine home care districts; we work in both urban and rural areas. The areas mentioned in this advertisement require a driver's license as all groups are car-based. A probationary period may apply.

To be employed with the title Assistant Nurse and paid as an Assistant Nurse, you must present a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or prove that you have had a permanent employment with the title Assistant Nurse as of July 1, 2023.

Selection is ongoing, and the positions may be filled before the application deadline. Start date by agreement.
