About the Role

The Production Manager for Facilities is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring building maintenance to ensure safe, functional, and reliable buildings and depot environments. You will be responsible for the daily distribution of tasks and for following up that work is carried out correctly and safely. The Production Manager is a key figure in preventive maintenance and when disruptions or problems arise.

The Production Manager has overall responsibility for the ongoing dialogue with the Traffic Administration and other external suppliers.

The role also includes monitoring and controlling that inspections and rounds of buildings and depot environments are carried out satisfactorily, and that any deviations are handled and corrected.

As a Production Manager within facilities, your main tasks are to lead daily operations and continuously develop both working methods and employees within the facilities department. You will work to ensure that both planned and unplanned work is carried out, with ongoing reporting to the Facilities Manager.

Main Responsibilities

This is a shared role where you will work both practically and administratively in Täby, Märsta, and Norrtälje. However, your base location will be Täby.

We are looking for you who have a background in facilities with at least 3 years of experience in operating complex buildings. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Handling fault reports and ensuring measures are taken within set timeframes.
  • Ensuring that inspections, servicing, and inspections are carried out in a safe and cost-effective manner.
  • Compiling data for reports regarding buildings and depot environments.
  • Maintaining ongoing dialogue with suppliers, employees, and the Traffic Administration.
  • Handling administrative tasks, including invoices and system follow-ups.
  • Working with the heating, ventilation, and plumbing (HVAC/plumbing) systems of buildings, as well as other technical installations at bus depots and rest areas.

Competency Requirements

  • Technical basic education or competence in Facility Technology is required.
  • At least 3 years of documented experience in operating complex buildings.
  • Good ability to maintain a holistic view of buildings and their needs.
  • Good computer skills (Outlook, Excel, maintenance systems).
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).
