Occupational Therapist for Specialized Housing and Disability Services

There is a lot happening at our unit right now as we develop our working methods. Here, as a trained occupational therapist, you get the chance to work with a competent and inclusive team with great opportunities to develop in your professional role. We think outside the box and focus on person-centered care and teamwork. We are currently looking for an occupational therapist for our specialized housing for the elderly. For those interested, there is also the opportunity to work in the disability sector, which includes LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Functional Disabilities), social psychiatry, and personal assistance.

Through teamwork, you and your colleagues work with the staff at our housing facilities. To allow you to focus on your work as an occupational therapist, you are supported by our rehabilitation assistants with administration, prescribed training, and assistive devices. At our workplace, you will receive a thorough introduction, and if you are a recent graduate, you will be offered a mentor. We are approximately 30 employees who enjoy our jobs and each other's company. We believe it is important to support you as an employee by offering the possibility of remote work, either from home or during commutes, in addition to flexible hours.

Job Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist, you work to strengthen people's independence in daily life. You get to know the individuals we serve and follow their development over time. Our employees are highly regarded, with many seeking our support. In this role, you collaborate closely with physiotherapists, both individually and in small teams. You also cooperate with nurses, care staff, and other professions. The role includes supervising students during their practice-based education (VFU). You plan your own workday and have the opportunity to influence and develop our work. If you join us, we would appreciate your contribution to the development of areas such as digitalization and collaboration.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a B-driver's license and are a trained occupational therapist with Swedish licensure, or who will complete your education during the current semester. As a person, you are sensitive, flexible, and solution-focused. It is an advantage if you have worked with this target group before, but it is not a requirement. Through your ability to collaborate with others, we develop the daily lives of the individuals we serve together. You see opportunities and focus on what leads to good holistic solutions, both for the individual and for our operations.
