At Hotel Vännäs, a family-run business with 23 rooms, our guests stay right in the heart of Vännäs. We are located near a temperate swimming area in the summer, as well as a ski slope and cross-country ski tracks in the winter. Guests can enjoy nature or take a walk in the center with its cafes and shops. Our guests can also savor delicious meals in our cozy restaurant, which offers a broad range of services including a banquet hall and organized evening events.

We who work at the hotel are a cheerful group with a strong sense of community. We are now looking for a skilled, service-oriented employee for varied tasks such as service, bar, breakfast, reception, and cleaning of common areas.

As a Service Host, you act as a host together with the rest of the hotel team, creating a world-class guest experience. In this role, you work within several areas of responsibility, all of which contribute to the guest's overall experience. During your time with us, these areas may vary as you and the hotel develop.

What does the role of Service Host entail?
You working with us are often the first person the guest meets at our hotel, whether in the reception, the breakfast dining room, or in our restaurant. Therefore, it is crucial that you have a warm demeanor, are attentive to details, and aware of the guest's needs. You have a burning interest in food and drink and appreciate order and tidiness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. All of this is to provide our guests with a fantastic experience.

Your main tasks:
Serving food and drinks, working as a breakfast host, receptionist, and perhaps most importantly, keeping our premises clean and tidy. You also support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.

Who are you?
To fit into the role, we believe you have at least five years of experience in similar work or service-oriented operations. Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite.

If you live outside Vännäs, a driver's license is mandatory, as current train and bus connections do not suit all working hours. Most importantly, however, are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit the role, you need to be an attentive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests. We are looking for an employee who is seeking a permanent position and wants to become part of Hotel Vännäs.

The position is a fixed-term part-time employment (75%) with the possibility of more hours. We only accept applications via email.
