You, Us & The Job

As a van driver at PostNord, you are irreplaceable. You find the way, and your job is part of the journey towards climate-neutral freight transport. Transport is essential to reach all of Sweden, and we take responsibility from south to north, from countryside to city. We work purposefully to reduce our environmental impact, and you will be a key part of this by, among other things, training in fuel-efficient driving. Together, we are working to become fossil-free by 2030.

Are you a student or have another job and want to work extra? This is a job for you if you are flexible with work shifts, which usually happen with short notice. You will work between 0 and 39.9% of a full-time position and will be offered shifts during day/evening hours, primarily between 15:30–20:00, and during weeks 48–50 between 15:30–21:00.

We prefer that you are available to work 3–5 days in a row at the beginning of your employment during the introduction period, followed by 2–3 shifts per week.

You will be based at Ryckepungsvägen 2, Falun.

What you will do

• Loading, picking up, and distributing packages.
• Meeting our customers where they are, whether they are agents, private, or business customers.

Who you are

• Curious and self-motivated: A large part of the job is done alone, but team spirit is important.
• Patient and reliable: Life on the road is a mix of calm and stress. You keep the balance.
• Organized: Smart packing (think puzzle), preparation, and delivery are key words. So is order and punctuality. Our customers should be able to count on you and their shipments arriving on time.
• Physically fit: Yes, you sit still during the drive, but you need to be able to handle loads when picking up and delivering. For this, you need good strength and flexibility.
• Adaptable: Unplanned events require flexibility.
• Service-oriented: Customer relationships require the right attitude and empathy.
• You are unique: We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

What you bring with you

• High school diploma, or currently in your final year of high school.
• Category B driver's license and experience driving.
• Swedish language skills (spoken and written).
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and the ability to find solutions.
