We are looking for dedicated staff for the home care service in Hudiksvall – Iggesund Home Care.

2 fixed-term contracts of 12 months.

Job Description

Your main responsibilities will involve personal care in ordinary housing. Tasks include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, help with meals, shopping, and household chores. You will also be responsible for documentation according to current routines and answering safety alarms. In your role, you will serve as a Permanent Care Contact for users, which also includes creating implementation plans.

You should have an interest in rehabilitative work, as our goal is to support users in living as independently as possible. You will collaborate closely with professionals such as nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers.

The municipal home care service continuously works on improvements to create a safer everyday life for our users. Therefore, we are strengthening our home care teams with more assistant nurses to ensure that all users can be offered a Permanent Care Contact. We aim to improve the quality of work and create a safer environment for both users and staff through these changes.

You will work days, evenings, and weekends. Resource shifts may occur, and you need to be flexible and prepared for potential transfers to other units if necessary. As a new employee, you will receive a thorough introduction.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse (undersköterska). Experience in elderly care in general and home care specifically is meritorious. You will use a computer, smartphone, and car at work, so digital proficiency is desirable. A valid B-driver's license is required. Your duties involve communicating with various parties in speech and writing, so you must have a good command of the Swedish language.

As a person, you are: independent and responsible, sensitive to needs, attentive to areas for improvement, have good teamwork skills, and provide a good and professional attitude. Home care is a constantly changing operation, so you need to be flexible, able to work under stress, and solution-oriented. You act in accordance with decisions, operational plans, goals, policies, and guidelines. We believe you are suitable for the job if you have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others, but also see the bigger picture and consider the broader perspective.
