RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of Ventilation Technician involves independently planning, coordinating, and carrying out service assignments within Vidingehem AB's property portfolio. Your responsibilities include ensuring the technical execution of assignments and reporting any deviations or deficiencies in materials or completed work within the scope of your duties. This is a free and responsible position where you will have the opportunity to work in a well-established team alongside colleagues in the Operations & Service department, focusing on quality and satisfied customers. As a Ventilation Technician, you will have significant customer contact and solve our customers' needs. The assignments are varied and diverse.
We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technology and experience working practically with adjusting air flows in ventilation systems. We prefer candidates with several years of professional experience, preferably within both service and contracting. Additional qualifications in electricity, ventilation, energy, or other technical education are considered meritorious. You are accustomed to working independently and possess broad competence.
Main responsibilities:
- Performing troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance within your area of responsibility.
- Handling investigations and directives from authorities and customers.
- Ensuring compliance with authority and insurance requirements.
- Supervision and rounds within the department's area of responsibility.
- Ordering and coordinating subcontractors for the execution of fault reports according to current framework agreements, as well as following up on completed work. Contributing expertise during procurement within the professional field.
- The role is part of the emergency preparedness operations, tasked with delivering high service 24/7 year-round to our customers and handling urgent cases.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in property management within ventilation, with a focus on service.
- Basic knowledge of control and regulation technology.
- Good IT skills.
Meritorious qualifications:
- Fire plant operator certification.
- Heating and ventilation technology.
- Pre-commissioning control and electrical installation control, Electrical Safety SIP (authority requirement).
- Experience from emergency preparedness work.
- Lift training.
- Hot work certification.
- Fall protection training.
Personal qualities:
- Open, positive, and outgoing.
- Economic awareness.
- Customer-oriented with a high sense of service and quality.
- Takes initiative for continuous improvements.
- Team player.
- Receptive.
- Delivers on time and with good quality.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Start date: by agreement.
As a permanent employee, you will generally be placed in a war-time assignment (krigsplacering) within our organization.
