District Nurse for Söderhamn Health Centre

Söderhamn Health Centre has approximately 6,600 registered patients and offers a broad range of services including family doctor clinics, emergency care, rehabilitation, a training pool, a psychosocial team, and Child Health Services (BVC).

We also have close cooperation with Linden Health Centre, creating excellent opportunities for knowledge sharing and development.

Job Responsibilities

As a District Nurse with us, you will collaborate closely with other professions at the health centre. Together, you will contribute to providing our patients with safe and high-quality care. Your competence is a crucial prerequisite for our shared mission to support, treat, and guide people towards a healthier life. The role includes some shifts on the family doctor on-call duty in Söderhamn.

As a District Nurse, you will work with:

• Healthcare for both children and adults
• Telephone advice
• Clinic work with scheduled and urgent visits
• Preventive healthcare
• Home visits and care planning

Qualifications

We are looking for a flexible and engaged person who thrives in close collaboration with all professions at the health centre in a varied daily routine. You are interested in development and improvement work, feel confident in your professional role, and have the ability to meet people in a professional and empathetic manner.

For the role of District Nurse, you must:

• Be a registered nurse with District Nurse education
• Hold a valid Category B driver's license

For this position, it is meritorious if you have experience working in primary care, experience with elderly care teams, Lifecare, and the medical records system Cosmic.
