Job Information

Professionals Nord, in collaboration with a leading high-tech company, is seeking a Windows Technician. As a Windows Technician, you will become part of a specialist team responsible for the development, management, and further enhancement of business-critical IT infrastructure. The role is focused on third-line support, where you will handle complex technical issues rather than traditional user support.

This assignment is part of our staffing service. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at the client company for 12 months. The intention is that you may eventually be hired directly by them, provided all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Administration and further development of Windows Server and Windows clients.
• Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and other components within the Windows platform.
• Virtual client platforms and Citrix environments.
• Automation and scripting to streamline operations and management.
• Life-cycle management and further development of technical platforms.
• Participation in projects related to infrastructure and technical development.
• Ensuring stable operations in complex IT environments with high security requirements.

We Are Looking For

Someone with experience in Windows infrastructure who thrives on solving technically complex problems. You have likely worked as a system administrator in third-line support for a few years, but we also welcome those currently working in second-line support who feel ready to take the next step in their career. The requirements for the position are:

• Experience as a Windows System Administrator in third-line support, or alternatively, experience from second-line support with deep technical competence and a clear ambition to advance.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Windows clients.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Swedish citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PowerShell or other scripting and automation tools.
• Experience with Citrix or virtual client platforms.
• Experience working in large IT infrastructure environments.
• Experience in security-classified operations.

The position is security-classified and involves working in an operation with high security requirements. Therefore, Swedish citizenship is required, as well as passing a security clearance with background check according to the Security Protection Act.
