About the Role

As a Transport Planner with us, you are responsible for planning and optimizing our daily deliveries in the Stockholm area. The goal is for every delivery to take place on time, via the correct route, and with the best possible resource utilization.

You work closely with transport managers, the transport director, and drivers, and are a central part of daily operations. The role involves planning routes, following up on deliveries, and quickly adjusting plans when conditions change.

The operations run 24/7, and planning must function every day of the year. You therefore play a key role in ensuring our transport flows smoothly and that our customers receive the service that Grönsakshallen is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize daily distribution routes in Stockholm and surrounding areas
• Ensure efficient use of vehicles, drivers, and delivery times
• Follow up on deliveries and handle deviations in real-time
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with drivers throughout the day
• Coordinate deliveries together with warehouse, purchasing, and sales teams
• Actively work on improving routes, planning, and transport flows
• Ensure planning complies with current transport regulations and working time laws

This is a permanent position with a six-month probation period. It is a full-time role of 40 hours per week with varying working hours. One weekend per month is included in the schedule. Since operations run seven days a week, flexibility is required.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who thrives in an operational role where planning, problem-solving, and pace are part of everyday life.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Experience in transport planning, distribution, or logistics
• Experience in route planning and resource optimization
• Experience from food distribution is preferred
• A Class C driver's license and experience working as a driver are meritorious
• Good local knowledge of Stockholm and surrounding areas
• Ability to quickly find solutions and make decisions when conditions change
• Strong multitasking skills and experience handling multiple issues simultaneously
• Good system proficiency and experience with transport or planning systems

As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and communicative. You enjoy collaborating with both drivers and other functions within the business and have a natural service focus.
