We are looking for nurses for the Psychiatric Emergency Department (PAK) and SPOT
At the Psychiatric Emergency Department (PAK), 20 nursing assistants work today, and in the psychiatric care team (SPOT), 4 nursing assistants, 1 care leader, and 1 unit manager (VEC) work. According to the region's guidelines, several of the nursing assistants rotate between the operations and to ward 10. The assignment covers acute specialist psychiatric assessments around the clock as well as nursing interventions during the day in collaboration with doctors. The work also includes counseling via TeleQ and reception visits for assessing care needs, both within voluntary psychiatric care and according to the Law on Psychiatric Compulsory Care (LPT). SPOT works outside the hospital, often in the patient's home, with supportive conversations, behavioral activation, and training in social skills among other things.
We are now expanding SPOT with evening and weekend operations and strengthening PAK with more nurses.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nurse with us, you will have a varied and independent job where you meet patients with varying psychiatric care needs. You work in close collaboration with different professions and care actors to provide safe, secure, and person-centered care.
As a nurse with us, you will among other things work with:
- Reception visits, telephone counseling, and assessment of care needs, triage, and advisory and supportive conversations.
- Collaboration with different actors through collaboration meetings and coordinated individual plans (SIP).
- Medication administration, including LARO treatment during weekends.
- Documentation in Cosmic, admissions, referral handling, and cash register registration.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are confident and stable in your professional role and who have a professional and respectful approach. You have good cooperation skills, are independent, and can make well-founded decisions even in acute situations. You are clear, calm, and empathetic in your meeting with patients and have a genuine interest in specialist psychiatric nursing. You contribute with hope and a positive outlook on life in your work.
In the role of nurse, you must:
- Be a registered nurse.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience of working within psychiatric care.
- Experience of working within psychiatric emergency care or emergency care.
- Knowledge of the Law on Psychiatric Compulsory Care (LPT).
- Experience of working with LARO treatment.
- Experience of the medical record system Cosmic.
