Health Center Tullholmen is located centrally in Karlstad, and we currently have 28 employees.

Your responsibilities

As a district nurse with us, you will have a varied and stimulating role where you meet patients through all stages of life. You work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues in our cross-professional team.

The duties include, among other things:

• Own clinic with assessment, treatment, and follow-up of patients.
• Counseling via phone and digital health contacts.
• Scheduled and urgent patient visits.
• Health-promoting and preventive work.

We also have specialist nurse clinics for diabetes, heart failure, asthma/COPD, and dementia, which creates opportunities for development and deepening within your specialty area. As an educational health center, we see supervision of students as an important and stimulating part of our mission. We work in the medical record system Cosmic.

Your knowledge and competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed district nurse with a few years of experience and who feel confident in your professional role. Specialist competence in diabetes, heart failure, dementia, or asthma/COPD is an advantage. Also, experience with digital healthcare visits, for example through Visiba Care or similar systems.

You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and at the same time have a well-developed ability to collaborate. You have a good attitude and communication skills that create trust among patients, relatives, and colleagues. As a person, you are stable, flexible, and solution-oriented. You thrive in an operation where the pace is sometimes high and where we together contribute to a good work environment and high patient safety.
