About the position

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute to world-leading research that strengthens Sweden's defense and security. You will work in an environment where you get to structure complex problems, prioritize, and turn plans into well-functioning solutions. The combination of large projects and smaller assignments creates a varied and developing daily routine. In this role, you will become an important part of IT and contribute to creating both strategic and operational prerequisites for Sweden's defense research. Here you work together with positive and helpful colleagues in a pleasant atmosphere where the core business is both exciting and meaningful. You have an interest in both business and technology and see how they can be used together to contribute to Sweden's defense capability. Through your ability to translate the needs of research activities into usable IT solutions, you will become a key person in realizing the agency's mission.

About the unit

You will be part of the IT organization belonging to the Research Support department.

Do you have the competence profile we need?

Requirements

• University education in IT or equivalent experience,
• Several years of experience leading complex projects from start to finish,
• You express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English,
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

You have a natural ability to motivate and inspire colleagues and thrive when collaborating with people with different competencies. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Meritorious

• Experience with requirements specification and procurement in the IT field,
• Experience with agile working methods,
• Personal experience with system development, system administration, or IT operations.

The position is a permanent employment that may start with a six-month probationary period.
