As a Customer Service Officer at the Swedish Transport Administration, you will help make daily life easier for residents and businesses across Sweden. You will do this by contributing to the important work of road safety.

Job Responsibilities
Our task at the Driver Testing Centre is to conduct tests in the driving license and professional transport sectors. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that every customer feels welcome, receives clear information, and has the best possible conditions to demonstrate their knowledge.
The tasks vary, and team members rotate through different duties throughout the day. In your daily work, you will interact with a wide range of customers, making professional demeanor and clear communication essential parts of your role. Your responsibilities include exercising public authority by administering knowledge tests in groups, individually, and occasionally with an interpreter. The work can be fast-paced at times, so you should thrive in that environment. You will work according to a fixed schedule, and relocation for work may occur. Your duties will include:
- Front desk/reception duties
- Administering knowledge tests
- Answering customer inquiries
- Managing driving license photos in connection with licensing and renewals
- Performing general office tasks
Qualifications
Who are you?
You will be our face to the public and the first person our customers meet. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is confident, service-oriented, and enjoys interacting with others. Strong communication skills are essential, meaning you can convey information clearly and respectfully while adapting your style to the listener. You have a positive attitude and value teamwork. Additionally, you approach challenges flexibly and problem-solve effectively, easily adapting to new circumstances and situations while always keeping the customer’s and organization’s best interests in focus.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has completed upper secondary education
- Is at least 23 years old, which is the minimum age to administer knowledge tests according to the Swedish Transport Agency's regulations on test appointment
- Has several years of relevant work experience in face-to-face customer service, such as in reception/customer service/information desks with frequent customer contact
- Has good written Swedish skills
- Has good spoken Swedish skills
- Has basic spoken English skills
- Has strong computer skills and is familiar with the Microsoft Office suite
- Hold a valid driver’s license for a manual car
The following would be an advantage:
- Official authorization to administer knowledge tests at the Driver Testing Centre
