Avarn Uppsala is looking for a Team Leader for our Operations Desk – do you want to lead at the center of action?

In the Operations Desk, you are a central part of the business and are responsible for ensuring the daily operations for our customers. The work is varied and involves handling urgent vacancies, incoming customer cases, and executing operational tasks such as patrols, parking supervision, and alarm management. No day is the same, and you become a vital link in creating security, service, and continuity in our delivery.

Our customers place great trust in us, and the work within the Operations Desk is an important part of our delivery. You contribute every shift to maintaining security, service, and quality by quickly handling emerging situations, ensuring staffing, and carrying out operational security measures. In the role, you will have contact with both customers and the general public as well as colleagues, which requires you to be clear, calm, and professional even in pressured situations. Your contribution contributes to increased security for our customers and society at large.

Qualifications

In addition to the personal qualities we seek and describe, you must meet basic requirements to qualify for the position:

• Be at least 18 years old before starting the assignment
• High school diploma
• Good Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
• Category B driver's license

You must also be crime-free*, drug-free, have a sound financial situation, and be in good health and physical condition to be employed by Avarn Security.

Security guard training is meritorious for these positions. Other meritorious qualifications include experience in the security industry, some technical knowledge, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments.

If you have the right profile for Avarn and proceed in the process but do not already hold the prescribed education (VU1, VU2), we will cover your training! The security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted at BYA (The Security Industry's Vocational and Occupational Health Committee). Participation in this is a prerequisite for employment.
